There Are 'Tears, Tears, Tears' On Last Day Filming 'Downton Abbey'

On Tuesday, Daily Mail posted a video with the actors who reflected on where their journeys have taken them as well as what might come next. Even though the show has enriched peoples' lives, it didn't necessarily cause any massive change on the actors' personal lives.

"It's very grounding, and as much as the show has become this global success, in many ways I don't feel like [life] has changed," Laura Carmichael (Lady Edith) said. "My life is maybe as much as people think because we just go to work and see the same people and the same friends and the same crew, and trying to make each other laugh and love the show and love the script. So it's been a real consistent kind of journey."

Elizabeth McGovern (Cora Crawley) said that her life has pretty much stayed the same and she's open to anything that her future will lead her to.

"I don't feel like anything in my personal life has really radically changed," the actress said. "But I don't know whether I'll have a slightly different experience of career and work post-Downton Abbey or not. Anything can happen."
