The girl group has been nominated for "Song of Summer" at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards and they are currently trailing minimally behind the leaders of the category, who happen to be 5 Seconds of Summer.
This award is based on votes by fans through tweets and Instagram posts that use hashtags specified per nominee. 5H's "Worth It" is presently at 5,530,562 votes and counting, while 5SOS' "She's Kinda Hot" is at 5,790,472 and counting. The other nominations don't even come close to these two musical acts.

Ally Brooke Hernandez, Normani Kordei Hamilton, Lauren Jauregui, Camila Cabello and Dinah Jane Hansen really do not need to entice their fans to vote since the Harmonizers are very much a dedicated bunch of fans.

Cabello tweeted fans on Monday night that she would "post a video" of herself rapping Busta Rhymes' verse in "Look At Me Now" as long as fans were able to accumulate 100,000 votes.
Then, Hamilton teased a snippet of herself singing with bandmate Hansen. They sound flawless!
The MTV Video Music Awards take place Sunday so make sure you get those votes in!
