That Switched at Birth season premiere was quite a rush, wasn't it?

How Are Fans Going To Feel In The 'Switched At Birth' Finale?

Too many things happened with crazy storylines all over the place. First of all, Bay was struggling with her breakup from Emmett when she had a scary outburst about how much she hates him. Clearly, she's still hurting and it's been stated well enough that they're not getting back together. Or will they?

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter on Monday, series creator Lizzy Weiss gave the impression that it's a done deal for the two. But never say never.

Is Bay Getting A New Love Interest On 'Switched At Birth?'

"Girls say things. People get pissed off, and they mean when they say it," Weiss said. "She was so shocked in that moment that he would do that right then, when for her, she was feeling vulnerable after that assault. For him, it was everything, but they are just seeing things differently. She meant it when she said it. I stand by that. So who knows?"

As for the remainder of what happened in the premiere, prepare for major spoilers:

Daphne and Mingo's relationship seems still on even though Mingo is proving himself to not be so worthy of her time. Regina then made a connection with Eric when she dug into his past and found out that he technically kidnapped his son since the boy's mother had issues. Oh, and it was also revealed who was pregnant...with a storyline that's a lot more heart-clenching than expected.

It turns out that the one who is pregnant is...Lily! Toby is the father although he has yet to find out. He also don't know that his future child has been diagnosed with Down syndrome.

Find out what happens down that road on Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC Family.
