Lady Gaga's Sister, Natali Germanotta, In Photo Shoot At Family Restaurant [PICTURES & VIDEO]
Natali Germanotta, Lady Gaga's younger sister, posed for an editorial spread for the digital magazine Viralfashion.com.
The images show the 20-year-old Parsons School for Design fashion student in pieces by Alaia, J Mendel, and Proenza Schouler, with her hair swept up in a high chignon. She posed alongside staff from her parents' Italian restaurant, Joanne Trattoria, where the photo shoot took place, according to Daily Mail. The Upper West Side eatery is owned by the Germanotta family.
The shoot was inspired by 1950s Italian cinema.
"Everything about the shoot was over the top from the oversized meatballs and the 20 pound fish on the table to the big hair and jewelry," the website's creative director, Christian Fleres, said. "We had drama in mind the whole time, for that day everyone was playing the superhero version of themselves."
Natali, who works at the family restaurant, has been in front of the camera before. She stars in her sister's music video for "Telephone," which was a collaboration with Beyonce.
Joanne Trattoria has received some bad reviews in the past such as the New York Daily News, which called it "the worst thing since herpes."
However, back in September, Lady Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, put on an extra 25 pounds and blamed the weight gain on the good food from the restaurant. The "Born This Way" singer came out and said she could not resist her father's pizza and pasta.
"I love eating pasta and pizza," Gaga told radio host Elvis Duran. "I'm a New York Italian girl. That's why I have been staying out of New York. My father [Joe Germanotta] opened a restaurant. It's so amazing ... it's so freaking delicious, but I'm telling you I gain five pounds every time I go in there. My dad wants me to eat at the restaurant, and I'm, like, I've got to go where I can drink green juice."
