Zayn Malik News 2015: Simon Cowell Has Cut Ties With The Former One Direction Member? [VIDEO]
It still stings knowing Zayn Malik walked away from One Direction back in March, but it is nice knowing he will still be singing even if it is on his own.
The former One Direction member inked a recording contract with Sony's RCA Records in July and has since been in and out of the studio with acts such as Jay Sean.
It is abundantly clear Malik's sound will be nothing like One Direction's sound, but what has been truly alarming since his split from the boy band is his behavior on Twitter. He has picked fights with his former bandmate Louis Tomlinson, Taylor Swift's boyfriend Calvin Harris and he has been quite abrasive toward his ex-fiancée Perrie Edwards with shady tweets praising Fifth Harmony over her own girl group Little Mix.

It turns out Simon Cowell has completely washed his hands clean of Malik since the singer left 1D, but perhaps Cowell should talk to him since his behavior has been a bit out of control.
On Wednesday Yahoo! Celebrity UK reported directly from Cowell, "I'm not in touch with Zayn."
"Once we'd made the decision that he was going to be on a different part of Sony, which is good for him, my responsibility was obviously the guys and their next record," Cowell explained of his disconnect from Malik.
It's understandable that One Direction remained Cowell's focus, but it seems like Malik could use some solid words of wisdom and advice from his former boss.
"But Zayn is going to be fine," Cowell added so despite Malik leaving 1D it still seems like Cowell wishes the best for him.
