Despite still being a couple years away from hitting the big screen, the rumor mill continues to churn in regards to the "Justice League" movie, which is slated to hit the big screen in 2015.

Latino Review has seemingly been hot on the trail of the latest buzz, as it recently speculated that the comic's antagonist Darkseid would indeed be the villain used in DC Comics' future flick.

On Thursday, that very same source also revealed that the film's script, which is being penned by "Gangster Squad's" Will Beall, will be specially written around three issues of the "Justice League of America" comic.

"In a nutshell, plot-wide, the three issue arc involves Darkseid planning the destruction of Earth by blasting it with a ray that'll move Apokolips (Darkseid's planet) into the Earth's place," Latino Review cited.

First released in 1980, issues 183-185 of the "Justice League" comic series was penned by Gerry Conway. Within the comic, the Darkseid character is looking to wipe out planet Earth and make his home on the Apokolips planet.

The respective story also involves the "Justice Society of America" as well as the "Justice League." As it's written, the two factions join together to meet with Darkseid regarding the plan.

Moving forward, the production team will be primarily focused on composing the large team of superheroes that'll make up the future blockbuster. Much like the other DC films that have graced the big screen, it's a strong possibility that the "Justice League" flick will not abide too strictly to the comic books, according to Collider.

Although the film still doesn't have a director attached to it, Beall is said to be working hard on completing the script.

"Justice League" is expected to come out in the summer of 2015 and will star superheroes such as Superman, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, Aquaman and the Flash, to name a few.
