Kanye West VMAS: Did Yeezus Throw Shade At Taylor Swift When She Won Best Female Video? [VIDEO]
He got a lot of criticism when he rushed the stage and interrupted her acceptance speech for Best Female Video at the 2009 VMAs, and for a brief minute, it seemed like Kanye West was at it again when she had a repeat win during the 2015 show.
After Swift won the award (again over Beyonce) for her video for Blank Space, cameras panned to West as he turned to wife Kim Kardashian-and caught him apparently joking and throwing shade at the star for her win by curling up to Kardashian and pretending to take a nap-something fans quickly noticed and took to social media to talk about and comment on how it was clear West was ready to repeat what he did six years ago.

However, it was unlikely West was actually throwing shade and was just joking around, since Swift was set to present him with the Video Vanguard award later in the night.
