2015 VMAs: WATCH The Most Talked About Moments From Last Night’s MTV Award Show [Videos]
Nicki Minaj & Taylor Swift End Their Feud
There was a little bit of worry that these two pop queens were about to go to war, that started on twitter and was over VMA nomination snubs and race, but those concerns were put to bed within minutes of the show's start when Swift joined Minaj on stage for surprise shared performance. Maybe world peace is possible...but Swift settling things with Katy Perry? We won't hold our breathe.
The Weekend Got Your Favorite Pop Stars Dancing
"I Can't Feel My Face" is definitely a banger song that's invaded everyone's ears this summer. It's catchy and can get pretty much anyone listening to it moving. Even, as it would seem, those who create catchy bangers for a living.
Rebel Wilson Takes Off Her Pants & Rants About Strippers
For some reason, the Pitch Perfect star thought it would be funny to joke about the hot button issue of police brutality, but with the twist to make her actual complaints about police strippers, while presenting the award for best hip hop video. Yeah, it was about as funny as it sounds.
Nicki Minaj "Feuds" With Miley Cyrus
In what was probably one of the oddest twists of the evening, Nicki Minaj ended her acceptance speech for the Best Hip Hop Video VMA for "Anaconda" to throw some serious shade at Miley Cyrus, supposedly over things that Cyrus has said about Minaj in an interview with The New York Times. Although we have to say, it felt pretty fake.
Kanye (Possibly) Throws Shade at Taylor Swift

Arguably one of the most infamous moments in modern pop music history was from the 2009 VMAs, when a drunk Kanye West jumped on stage to interrupt Taylor Swift's acceptance of the award for Video of the Year, beating out Beyoncé. So when Swift beat Beyoncé again this year, this time for Best Female Video, all eyes were on Yeezus. Whether his response to Swift's win is playful teasing or mean-spirited joking is up for interpretation.
Justin Bieber Breaks Down Crying
Before last night, it had been five years since Justin Bieber had performed at the VMAs. At the moment, the Biebs finds himself in the middle of career reboot. His bad boy days seem behind him and his latest song "What Do You Mean?" has impressed critics and fans a like. So you can imagine that his performance in front of the VMA crowd of the new tune, along with his collaboration with Skrillex and Diplo "Where Are U Now," would be an emotional one...that he couldn't keep in.
Kanye's Vanguard Acceptance Speech

With a doubt, THE moment of the night that everyone is talking about. Kanye West's acceptance speech for MTV's version of a lifetime achievement award was honest, energetic, explorative, rambling, fun, hilarious, and crazy. So so crazy. And a speech this kray kray can only end one way...with a declaration of a presidential campaign.
Miley's Closing Performance
Although the evening was filled with a lot of strong acts and solid performers, it was host Miley Cyrus' surprising show-closing rendition of her song "Do It" with Flaming lips front man Wayne Coyne that made the night. It was routine that, for us, anyway was compelling reason to download her new album.
