Another day, and another report criticizing everything Kate Middleton does or doesn't do. This time around there's a new report that says fans of the British royal family are none too happy over the fact that the Duchess of Cambridge has been shielding her two children from the spotlight. Many critics say young Prince George and his newborn baby sister Princess Charlotte need to get used to living in the public eye, as they'll most likely be doing so their entire lives.

According to the Gloucester Citizen on Wednesday, fans are upset that the Duchess and her husband Prince William have been living their lives behind closed doors, unlike other royal family members - particularly Prince William's late mother, Princess Diana - who always make an effort to connect with everyday Brits.

Critic Lisa Smith told the site, "It's a shame that we haven't seen Princess Charlotte since the christening. You could tell by the way George was looking around that he wasn't used to the crowds or the press. I think the children need to be in the press more."

She added, "(Princess) Diana made sure her children were seen so they got used to the limelight. They are going to be in the public eye as the grow up so I think they need to get used to it."

Yet, another poster seemed to disagree as he wrote, "Ridiculous that anyone would even think that exposing a very young child to more photographers and strangers calling his name, more often, would make that child more secure. It's selfish on their part."

Prince William and the Duchess Catherine have mostly kept to themselves ever since their daughter Princess Charlotee was born back in May. So far, Kensington Palace has not made any comments about the report.
