Throughout the sixth season of Teen Mom 2, Messer has been accused of hiding a drug problem by her ex-husband, Corey Simms, and while Simms stands by his claims, Messer has chosen to ignore the rumors and focus on parenting her three daughters.

"You know you’re a mom when you use baby wipes for cleaning up random spills, the dash of your car, window sills and your entire bathroom," read a message shared by Messer on Facebook last week.

Also last week, Simms explained his drug accusations to fans on Twitter.

"Idk why I'm tweeting this because I honestly do not care what people think or what they say about me but anyways. There is a reason for everything that Miranda and myself have said or done. We simply want the girls to grow up in a safe and healthy environment," Simms wrote on Friday. "There is a lot of things that has been told to us by very close members of her family that lead us to believe the things being told are very much true. If we didn't care about the girls or the situation we would obviously not have anything to say or do about it. Thank you to the people who understand and to the people that don't well that just sucks now don't it?"
