Previously The CW Television Network's YouTube channel revealed an interview with Alexis Borges, the agency director out of the Los Angeles NEXT Management office, what he looks for in models signing with the agency.
Now the YouTube channel has an interview up with another Los Angeles NEXT Management employee; Anthony De La Rosa, who works within the New Faces Division of the agency. He was seen in the episode of America's Next Top Model Cycle 22 that aired Wednesday.
How Did 'America's Next Top Model's Lacey Get Tapped For Competition?
De La Rosa explained his role at the agency in the video below. He basically works with all the new talent signed to the agency.
"My job would be to make sure the girls have their casting details, I work to build the girls' books, I find the right photographers," he dished.
Basically there is a lot of fine details involved in De La Rosa's position at NEXT since he needs to make sure the models are paired with the proper photographers so great photos are taken.
"Some photographers won't get certain girls and certain girls don't respond well to certain photographers," he revealed.
So whichever model walks away the winner from this cycle will be in good hands since De La Rosa is clearly passionate about his job and making sure the models signed to NEXT succeed.
He also gave modeling tips especially when it comes to open castings. The best thing a model can do is be "as natural as possible."
De La Rosa also gushed over what makes NEXT Management stand out amongst the many other agencies. It's the fact that this agency focuses on personality so much.
"We really, really look for personality and that special star quality. That's really rare and super hard to find," he explained, adding that while a model's physical attributes are important, it's their personality that gives them longevity in their career.
America's Next Top Model Cycle 22 airs on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
