'Arrow' Season 4 Spoilers: Oliver Rejoins The Team To Combat Damien Darhk In First Trailer [VIDEO]
The trailer for the suspenseful season 4 of Arrow is finally out and while it starts out in sunny tones of domesticity, it follows through in a heady mix of action and revelations in "Star" city.
Fans get a first look at Oliver (Stephen Amell) kicking butt in his new avatar as the Green Arrow, and Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) is seen practicing action moves herself. While the two are shown sharing doemstic bliss away from Star City, in their new romantic nest, Oliver is beckoned back as the new villain Damien Darhk (Neil McDonough) wreaks havoc in the city and wants to watch it die.
McDonough works a sharp look of an evil executive in his avatar as Darhk. We also get to see Echo Kellum as Mr. Terrific, who seems to be mostly collaborating with Felicity in the tech department. But Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy) beseeches Oliver to come back into the vigilante universe as Green Arrow, telling him they "need a hero." Oliver's new superhero costume is also revealed to him in the new den for the team. There are moments where they don't have each others backs and seem to be fighting seperately which becomes a cause of concern. It seems like Diggle will finally forgive Oliver, as is suggested by the trailer and team will finally reunite like in the good old days.
Green Lantern To Join 'Arrow' Crew In Season 4?
The friction between Oliver and the old crew -- as they do not reunite immediately -- is also shown. Diggle (David Ramsey) is also seen in his new superhero costume, and disappointedly stating that Oliver walked away
It is also revealed that Starling City has been renamed in honor of Ray Palmer, who died in season 3.
The preview concludes with a confrontation between Oliver and Darhk, wherein Darhk questions who Oliver is, because of what he knows Arrow is dead.
