Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber Break Up: Uses Taylor Swift Songs To Mend Broken Heart
Reports confirmed that Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber ended their relationship on Dec. 15 and a close friend of Gomez's said the former Disney star is coping with the split by listening to songs by Taylor Swift.
Gomez posted a video on Youtube of her and her friends singing and dancing a choreographed routine to Swift's "I Knew You Were Trouble," and a source revealed that she has turned to Swift's music a lot lately.
"Sel's been hanging with a lot of her friends, and her family, too," the source said. "We've all been listening to Taylor's album a lot, too, and she loves it because its all about breakups."
The source referenced the Youtube video with Gomez and said "We love singing along and y'all will probably get another video soon."
A different source told HollywoodLife Gomez broke up with Bieber because she does not appreciate the "Boyfriend" singer's friendship with her ex-boyfriend Nick Jonas. Jonas and Bieber spent some time together on Dec. 13 and the source added that "Selena was crying about it."
Bieber tweeted that he won several ping-pong games while hanging out with Nick Jonas, who then replied, "Just played #Justin Bieber in ping pong. Went to deuce both times, but he's the ping pong champion."
"At this point, Selena isn't going to any of Justin's concerts ever again. She doesn't want to speak to him anymore and told him it's over," the source said. "Hanging out with Nick proved that he wants to just be a jerk about this, and Selena's sick of being heartbroken. They are finished, and I think it's for good this time."
Swift and Gomez happen to be very close friends. Back in November, the two female singers got together for a girl's night out only a day after Gomez had a dinner date with Bieber that ended badly. Swift, 23, was fresh of her split from Conor Kennedy and the girls went out to dinner in Los Angeles.
""There were a lot of giggles and laughter. They looked like great friends and were also in deep conversation throughout the meal," an onlooker told People.
