Kate Middleton might be one of the most popular figures to come out of the British royal family, but it looks like she's also got her fair share of critics, too. There's a new report that says the Duchess has been spending too much time behind closed doors and not enough time doing promoting her charities and special appearances just like her late mother in law, Princess Diana, once did.

According to the popular gossip blog Celebitchy, the Duchess is scheduled to make a few appearances in both October and November, but critics are saying that it's not enough. The new mom has not been seen in public since giving birth to her daughter Princess Charlotte back in May, and in fact has done very little since marrying Prince William back in 2011.

Even though royal insiders say that Middleton will "get going" this Fall by concentrating on children's mental health while promoting early intervention messages and helping prevent family breakdowns, some royal observers are saying it's not enough, especially since she is scheduled to take a two-week vacation in November.

Some comments from fans include, "No one is begrudging Kate time with her kids, but when we do see her away from the kids, the choices she makes are very telling. If Kate can spend 6 hours at Wimbledon or leave 6 month old George for a trip to the Maldives, she definitely do at least something related to her charities at least once every two weeks."

Another critic said, "She gets no slack from me. She is just so lazy. I have come to understand that she does not care. She could be doing so much yet does so little," while another wrote, "I fail to see how her showing up, smiling for the cameras and accepting a bunch of flowers really 'makes an impact.'"
