Ciara is known for starting a lot of fashion trends with her incredible style, but it looks like she and her beau Russell Wilson might be influencing their fans in a whole different way. There's a new report that suggests the couple might be starting a new celibacy trend, as the singer herself has said her sexless relationship with the NFL star is both a "cool and healthy thing."

According to the Christian Post on Tuesday, the Christian Seattle Seahawks star reveled during the beginning of their relationship that God told him to lead his girlfriend in a vow of abstinence, which so far seems to be working.

"I run into different people and they'll talk to me about their journey and their relationships, so I think that's been really cool and it's a healthy thing," Ciara told E! News last week. "It's a healthy conversation we all get to have as adults. I'm not sweating it at all."

Back in July, Wilson told the world that he's putting marriage before sex in a special conference he took part in with his pastor at The Rock Church.

Speaking about his relationship with Ciara, he said, "I asked her 'What would you do if we took all that other stuff off the table and did it Jesus' way, no sex? ... I knew God had brought me into her life to bless her and for her to bless me, and to bless so many people with the impact that she has and I have. We're not going to be perfect, by any means. But He's anointed both of us and He's calling for us to do something special."

Ciara herself added, "You know, when Russell talked about it, he was being honest. For what it's worth, I think there are so many people like us. We get to share real things. We're real people."
