Scorpion's geniuses need each other to survive, and Walter's little cliffjumping act will leave them to their own devices as season 2 begins.

Leaderless for the moment, Sylvester, Toby, and Happy will have a little free time on their hands - time that they will spend without each other. As Walter's season 1 flashbacks revealed, the members of Team Scorpion are not stronger when they're apart.

"[They've] basically been on a break while Walter rehabs [his hand]... and it's not a very pretty picture," executive producer Nick Wootton teased, according to TV Line. "They don't exactly have the same focus apart as they do together."

Lets hope someone will at least keep Toby from losing his shirt in Vegas. That is one place the behaviorist does not need to visit ever again.

Luckily Walter will be up and running once more during the season premiere, which is titled "Satellite of Love." When Homeland Security needs his help once more, O'Brien will be tasked with getting his team - and Cabe Gallo - back on track.

"The new Director of Homeland Security reunites the team when a nuclear powered Russian satellite is knocked out of orbit and must be diverted before it detonates over Southern California," CBS teased. "Also, Paige and Walter must face their feelings for each other after hospital footage reveals Paige kissed him."
