In a TVLine fall preview report it was revealed that Jeffrey Dean Morgan's character is definitely going to get some loving attention from The Good Wife's leading lady.

Cary Will Be 'Drawn' To Younger Associates In Season 7

When asked by the publication if Alicia (Julianna Margulies) was going to be romantically inclined toward Morgan's character, who will be working as her new investigator, co-creator Robert King gave an emphatic ""F--- yes."

He went on to reveal that while the chemistry between the two will be "tactile" there will be a few hiccups from seeing it through to fruition. King said that "the Catholic-girl part of" Alicia will actually hold her back some from launching into a full-fledged extramarital affair. Also, Peter (Chris Noth) running for presidency is definitely going to complicate affairs and he will need Alicia by his side to keep up his reputation in the public eye.

'Eli's Head To Explode' In Season 7, Alan Cumming Dishes

"One of the things Peter can [use as campaign leverage] is a marriage that went to the brink and now is happy - although reality is different from public perception," King said. "Peter knows, without Alicia, he's just a John who overpaid for a hooker."

In a previous interview with E!Online Morgan actually addressed the speculation. The entertainment publication caught up with Morgan while he was promoting his other show Extant at San Diego Comic Con. "We'll see. I don't know. I've been told a little bit of my character's background. I know that there's a lot of speculation that there might be some possible romance thing happening," he said. "And I know Julianna and I'll be happy to jump into that arena with her. So we'll see what happens."

Season 7 will premiere on October 4.

The season 6 finale, entitled 'Wanna Partner?' aired on CBS on May 10.
