Leah Messer is caught in the midst of drama regarding the safety of her children.

Leah Messer Returns To Facebook After Being Accused Of Endangering Her Twins

Earlier this week, In Touch Weekly reported police had been called on the Teen Mom 2 star due to her failure to properly buckle her twins, Ali and Aleeah, 5, into their car seats while she was driving. And now, a new source claims there is more to the story.

“MTV had to step in and stop filming several times because it was too unsafe to have the kids riding around the car unbuckled,” a source told The Ashley's Reality Roundup on Wednesday. “As far as I know, [production] had to go purchase car seats for the kids.”

The site went on to claim Messer's ex-husband, Jeremy Calvert, had heard the reports, and was concerned for his daughter, Adalynn, as well as the twins.

In a second report by Life & Style, via Radar Online on Thursday, a source claimed Corey Simms, Messer's first husband, was also confirmed, and further convinced he and his wife, Miranda, should have full custody of the twins.

“Corey definitely wants full custody of his girls,” the source said.

Messer and Simms have been involved in a custody battle for the last several months, but so far, no adjustments have been made, and the custody of the girls remains split between their two parents.
