Although Ayers' co-stars on The Real Housewives of Orange County questioned his decision to cease chemotherapy treatments during season 10, the reality star's latest health update revealed his choice to be a positive one.

Brooks Ayers Claims 'RHOC' Is Holding Out On Cancer Reveal To Increase Ratings
Ayers is currently suffering from stage 3 Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, but throughout the 10th season of The Real Housewives of Orange County, his diagnosis and treatment plans have been pulled into question by new cast member Meghan King Edmonds.
Most recently, Edmonds spoke to E! News, explaining why she's not sold on news of Ayers' cancer.
“I think there’s going to be a lot of strong opinions both ways … I have my own suspicions and therefore somewhat of a conclusion," she explained to the site also month. "At the same time, I’ve been really affected by cancer and that’s why I think I feel so strongly about this because I see how cancer can rock everyone’s world. Not just close relatives, but everybody.”
