A good number of previously slain supernatural characters will reportedly return to CW's "The Vampire Diaries" when the series continues its fourth season in January 2013.

Although fans had to watch the demise of the hybrids killed by Klaus, International Digital Times is saying that some of the late victims will still be back.

The site also reports that viewers of the highly popular program can anticipate the rebirth of Rebekah from her coffin as well as Kol waddling right back into Mystic Falls.

Rebekah will supposedly be found by April in episode 9 with a dagger pierced in her body. Appropriately so, she'll allegedly awaken in an angry state, due to her stabbing at the hands of Klaus.

While Rebekah will more than certainly seek vengeance, her anger may have to be directed elsewhere since her brother is immune to death.

Although her re-surfacing shouldn't come as much of a surprise, fans of the television mainstay were undoubtedly shocked to witness Kol in the episode 10, "After School Special" teaser.

Joseph Morgan, who dons the role of Klaus, spoke to TV Guide about the conflicting dynamic between his character and Kol (Nathaniel Buzolic).

"In the beginning, Klaus and Kol start off more on the same page, but Kol definitely comes in with his own objectives and motives. They end up at odds and issuing threats at each other and it does become quite serious."

While Klaus can be a two-face, Morgan did stress the importance of the unspoken bond between the Originals characters within the series.

"This is the thing I think has won people over with the Originals, this bond that goes deeper than any other relationship. It's like when someone can bully their younger brother, but no one else can."

"The Vampire Diaries" will continue its fourth season on Jan. 17 at 8 p.m. EST on the CW network.
