Released on Wednesday, the new promo shows the family of cops and their kids back at the dinner table, which may be their only time to celebrate- because the adults' work lives are about to take over with criminals stooping to new levels.
This includes a bomb, dead bodies and hospital interrogations. Frank is also going to have doubts about how his job is going to make him feel as he continues this life of crime.

Viewers can also expect guns being fired where it appears that people will take the bullet. Danny is then going to go out of his way to make sure the bad guys are caught even if it's storming through hard glass.
The ending of the promo gives the impression that when it comes to breaking the law and hurting the city, the cops will be out there to stop them.
Meanwhile, it was announced last month from TV Line that an NYPD sergeant is coming to the series who may or may not be all he seems. Even though he wants to increase accuracy in police statistics, there might be something else up his sleeve, which could damage any good intentions he has.
