Jared Fogle Investigation: Complaint Against Former Subway Spokesman Had 'Nothing That Implied Anything About Sexual Behavior?' [VIDEO]
It seems like there might've been some suspicion about Jared Fogle years ago.
Former Franchisee Of Subway Reportedly Told Execs About Jared Fogle's Interest In Children
On Saturday, CNN reported that Subway went over an "extensive review" on its former spokesman from a complaint back in 2011. The complaint was submitted to the restaurant's website with "concerns" about Fogle.
While the company acknowledged that the comments were serious, "there was nothing that implied anything about sexual behavior or criminal activity."

In a statement posted on the site, Subway also made it clear that this complaint "was not properly escalated or acted upon." But apparently, it's not like that anymore.
"Since 2011, the company has strengthened its processes for reviewing and escalating customer comments, complains and inquiries."
Fogle has been making headlines in the last few months ever since he was accused of child pornography. He reportedly agreed to plead guilty to those charges along with paying for sex with minors. He is also supposed to pay $1.4 million to 14 of his victims, each receiving $100,000. If this doesn't happen, he could serve from five to 12-and-a-half years in prison.
Fogle became famous when he worked in Subway ads. He had lost a large amount of weight after apparently eating from the restaurant. This seemingly helped the company earn more success with the image that their food will help customers achieve their ideal weight.
Fogle is no longer a subway spokesman and is due to be sentenced in November.
