It looks like George Clooney has some choice words for Donald Trump. The Hollywood actor slammed the presidential hopeful by calling him both "intolerant" and "idiotic" during the Toronto International Film Festival this weekend.

According to Gossip Cop on Sunday, when Clooney was asked what he thought about Trump's comments about illegal immigrants and how he plans to build a wall on the Mexican border, he said, "Clearly, what he said is idiotic. Anybody who says as intolerant words as those should be laughed at, and that's pretty much [what] I think eventually history will do."

Clooney also added his thoughts about Trump currently leading in the polls,.as there's a good chance that he might win the Republican ticket.

He said rather sarcastically, "Who'd have thought Donald Trump would be at 30 percent? That will end up working out very well."

Clooney is currently in Toronto promoting his latest box office movie, "The Brand Is Crisis," in which he produced. The film stars Sandra Bullock as a political consultant hired to help a candidate win a presidential race in Bolivia.

So far, the rather outspoken Trump has not commented on Clooney's criticism.
