It might be hard for some people to believe it, but Raven Symone is an adult now.
What Were Raven Symone's Plans For 2015?
In fact, she's 29-years-old now and sometimes the public forgets that she's not that teen from That's So Raven or that little girl on The Cosby Show anymore. The former actress acknowledges the fact that she's still seen as a little one even though years have passed.
"I'm sure that for some people I'll always be a child star," Symone said in Friday's report from New York Daily News.
What Did Raven Symone Say About The Ariana Grande Donut Incident?
Symone is now a co-host on The View discussing controversial topics in the media with her own insight.
"So the people who watched me back then can see now that I'm almost 30," she said. "And so on The View, for the first time I'm speaking all my own words, not something that was written by somebody else for me."
"I'm a woman now," she added. "I've got thoughts of my own."
One of the things that makes Symone proud to be part of the talk series is the diversity in age so audience members can see perspectives from older and younger folks.
"We've got a good mix of people in different age ranges," the co-host said. "Having me in there, I think, lets younger people realize their voices count too."
Symone can be seen on The View weekdays at 10 a.m. ET on ABC.
