One Direction On Tour 2015: Band Ends North American Leg At Gillette Stadium, Liam Grateful ‘For Years Of Amazing Crowds’ [PHOTO, VIDEOS]
One Direction wrapped the North American leg of their On The Road Again Tour on Saturday in Massachusetts at the Gillette Stadium.
Why Is Liam Payne's 'Attitude' Magazine Interview Causing So Much Drama?
This gig essentially was their last stadium performance in the United State pre-hiatus, which begins in March next year. The band will obviously do promotional work in regard to their upcoming fifth studio album, but they will not be touring again anytime soon.
So Saturday night was a big night as Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson performed in Foxborough, just outside of Boston.

The guys celebrated Horan's 22nd birthday a tad early. His birthday was actually Sunday, Sept. 13, but Styles, Payne and Tomlinson along with the entire audience sang "Happy Birthday" to the Irish member. Check that out in a fan-captured video below.
Horan celebrated too by singing his own rendition of Taylor Swift's "22".
Payne even took a dazzling photo of the Irishman on stage.
Aside from the early celebration of Horan's birthday, the band felt a little somber since it's obvious they don't know when they'll be back for another tour throughout North America.
Payne took a video showing off how much he'll miss Canada and the United States.
"Sad, sad, sad," he revealed in the video's caption, adding, "[S]ee you soon America and Canada too. [Y]ou will both be missed a lot. [T]hank you for years of amazing crowds and celebrations."
Styles got sentimental on Twitter before and after the show. He thanked everyone who has gone to see him and his bandmates during this leg prior to the gig.
And after, he was gracious and happy to have ended the leg at Gillette Stadium.
The boy band will continue their tour in their homelands of the United Kingdom and Ireland throughout the rest of September and October.
