Andi Dorfman News: ‘Bachelorette’ Star Says Alcohol Helps Soothe A Broken Heart [VIDEO]
If you've ever been dumped by a loved one, Andi Dorfman suggests that you find your bottle opener and simply move on. The former reality television star recently opened up about mending a broken heart while sharing her best dating advice for young fans out there who are still looking for Mr. Right.
In a new interview with Cosmopolitan on Monday, when asked, "What do you do to get over someone?" the Bachelorette star replied with, "For starters, wine. Wine!"
The Georgia beauty also said that her friends usually come to her for advice whenever they are dealing with issues in the love and boyfriend department. And unfortunately for her friends, she likes to tell it like it is, even if it comes off rather harshly.
She explained, "Oh, they usually come to me. Not usually in the initial stages of grief, but when they need a good talking to. I'm not the one they come to to cry to. I'm the one they come to when they need to figure shit out."
Dorfman added, "Like, "Girl, you need to shower." Or, "Girl, you need to get rid of him. I am the get-a-grip type of person."
Dorfman herself broke up with her ex-fiance Josh Murray after being engaged for just six months. The Tampa native popped the question during the season finale of the Bachelorette back in 2014.
The reality television star adds that she hasn't dated anyone since her break-up.
