Watch A Mentalist Read Mel B's Mind On 'America's Got Talent'

On Monday, WTHR shared an interview with Drew Lynch, known as the comedian with a stutter on the reality competition. When he was asked if he saw himself making it to the finals, he admitted that he didn't see it coming, but he's hoping for the best.

"I definitely never imagined getting this far," Lynch said. "My mindset throughout this competition has just been- we'll see what happens. I didn't really plan on- in the semis I'm gonna do this joke, or the finals I'm gonna do this; it was just kind of a roll of the dice. That was kind of my mindset."

'Russian Roulette' Chatter On 'America's Got Talent'

When Lynch was younger, he suffered a throat injury, causing his stutter. So he uses this to make jokes about himself, which led into praise from the audience as well as the judges.

With the finals coming up, the comedian mentioned that he doesn't want to change too much about his stage presence since he's been doing so well so far.

"I'm don't think there's gonna be a whole lot that's different," he said. "I don't have grand finale plans. It's just...if being myself is what got me this far, I don't think I want to change that."

America's Got Talent airs on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
