“God was gracious enough to give me a baby girl in the last two months, you know, after losing one.”

Brown reminded viewers that Bobbi Kristina hasn’t been the only loved one he has lost. Her mother and his ex-wife Whitney Houston, passed away in eerily similar circumstances back on Feb. 11 of 2012. She was discovered unconscious in the bathtub of a Beverly Hills hotel. Bobbi Kristina was found unresponsive in the bathtub of her Roswell, Ga. home on Jan. 31. She died on July 26. She was Houston’s only child.

Brown said Etheredge helped him during his tough times.

“I mean after losing my mom, my dad, my ex-wife, my daughter in the last six years... the only thing I had to lean on was her. She’s probably tired of me leaning on her, but she’s held m up and she’s got my back — and you know anytime I need to lean to the side or lean forward, you know she’s right there.”

He also revealed his favorite memory of Bobbi Kristina is her smile.

“Not because we have the same smile… the same gap and everything, but her smile and just her graciousness with loving people. She was so kindhearted. She always took care of her friends.”

He is currently opening a foundation on behalf of Bobbi Kristina to help women who have suffered domestic violence called Bobbi Kristina Serenity House.
