Kevin (Greg Rikaart) and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) have been tiptoeing around each other for quite a long time now when it comes to if they are friends or something more.

Ian Ward Will Have Genoa City 'In Turmoil' On 'The Young and the Restless' With Gabriel/Adam's Help?

The tiptoeing is going to end during the new episode airing today, Sept. 15, since the pair will take a plunge to solidify what they are.

Mariah has time and time again insisted they are just friends and roommates, but it is clear she is smitten with him and it seems as though those feelings are reciprocated.

'The Young and the Restless' Got Actress Mishael Morgan A Body Double, But Why?

In the sneak peek below, Mariah will suggest to Kevin, "Maybe we can spend the night here," which causes a somewhat stunned "Oh" to escape through his lips.

Where is "here" exactly? Well, according to Soaps, Marisa (Sofia Pernas) and Noah (Robert Adamson) will give Mariah and Noah the push they need to be together and Marisa will grant Mariah with the opportunity for them to explore their relationship in her suite since she'll be staying with Noah.

The burning romance that is unfolding between these two aside, Jack (Peter Bergman) and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) will discuss the Paragon Project.

"The Paragon Project isn't real," Ashley insists to Jack in the clip, but he will tell her it is real and they need to prepare for the chaos it's going to most likely unleash.

Then, Ian Ward (Ray Wise) is seen being creepy in his trailer as he urges the Paragon Project to "unleash" its "fury."

He's definitely looking to ruin Victor (Eric Braeden) and it seems as though by doing so Jack and the others will crumble too.

The Young and the Restless airs on weekdays at 12:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
