Is Teresa Giudice Holding Up Filming On 'RHONJ' Season Seven?
Although a season seven cast for the Bravo reality show hasn't yet been chosen, Cohen, creator of the Real Housewives franchise, recently confirmed he's back in touch with Giudice, and hoping to get her back on the show as soon as possible.
"[Cohen has] remained in frequent email contact with Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice, who is currently in prison serving a 15-month sentence for fraud," E! News reported on Tuesday, revealing Cohen was "added to Teresa's approved email list back in June of this year."
Was 'RHONJ' Star Melissa Gorga Banned From Visiting Teresa Giudice In Prison?
"I've been emailing her a lot and she seems to be doing well under the circumstances," Cohen said. "I'm hoping to get her back in front of the cameras. That's how I would like to handle it."
As fans will surely recall, Melissa Gorga, who has feuded on and off with Giudice in recent years, said during an interview with Cohen on Watch What Happens Live in July that she had not yet been approved to visit Giudice, despite her request. According to PEOPLE Magazine, Gorga assumed it was the Federal Correctional Facility in Danbury, Conn. that she was waiting on, but Cohen, who had already been approved to communicate with Giudice quickly set her straight.
Giudice has been incarcerated since early January, and will be released on Dec. 23.
