On Wednesday, Tonkin tweeted a photo of herself where she tagged her Vampire Diaries boyfriend and her Originals co-star Daniel Gillies. There is a close-up on the actress's face where her piercing eyes stand out. Beneath that is the nose and mouth of what appears to be a chimpanzee.

Wesley posted a photo of himself like this although the bottom portion of his face is a cat. The picture can be seen as his new Twitter profile picture here.

Wesley also took to his Instagram page to see what Gillies would look like in the morphing of an animal. In this case, Gillies has the mouth of what appears to be a mountain lion or some sort of wildcat.

Things seem to be going beautifully for Wesley and Tonkin in their romance based on some other photos they've been posting on social media. Earlier this week, the two went for a bike ride in New York City where they took a moment to smile for the camera.
