‘NCIS’ Season 13 Premiere Spoilers: Director Vance Will Order Tony To Keep Working ‘Until The Calling’s Dismantled’ [PHOTO, VIDEOS]
Counting today, Sept. 18, the season premiere of NCIS is five days away!
Who Will Abby Have An 'All Girl Scene' With In An Upcoming 'NCIS' Episode?
Viewers can now see four sneak peeks from the premiere episode, which is definitely going to be an emotional roller coaster for the entire NCIS team.
The first clip relates directly to a tweet the NCIS Twitter sent out Thursday night. In the tweet is an image of a page of the script from the premiere episode and it is actually part of the scene playing out in the first clip.
Bishop's Relationship With Her Husband Will Get Rocky In New Season Of 'NCIS'?
The scene is between Tony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) and Joanna Teague (Mimi Rogers) on the Navy ship where Gibbs (Mark Harmon) is already in surgery and Tony is blaming himself for not being able to prevent his boss from being shot.
Tony is then interrupted with a call from Director Vance (Rocky Carroll). Tony will confirm Gibbs is alive and then insist on staying there as his boss undergoes his surgery, but Vance doesn't want him to stay put with Gibbs.
"No you're not," Vance says, adding, "The best thing you can do for Gibbs now is your job."
Tony will try to protest, but Vance will keep talking.
"If The Calling is still operating in Iraq you need to get back there while the trail is hot."
Tony will try to defend himself with his reasoning to stay with Gibbs on the ship, but Vance declares, "Then we don't stop, DiNozzo until The Calling's dismantled and this psychopath is captured or dead. We owe Gibbs that much. Are we clear?"
In the clip below, it actually looks as though it's the scene that occurs directly before Tony and Joanna are talking after leaving Gibbs so Dr. Taft (Jon Cryer) can perform his surgery.
Dr. Taft brings humor to the operating room, which is a welcomed comfort since everything going on with Gibbs is quite emotionally and physically draining.
The next clip that is available for viewing is of the rest of the team back in their headquarters. Timothy McGee (Sean Murray) is actually on the phone with Tony getting updated on what's going on, including, learning that Gibbs was shot. Eleanor "Ellie" Bishop (Emily Wickersham) is also on the phone with another agency, confirming the safety of the Supreme Court Justices and that the threats made by The Calling are all very real.
The final clip is of a panicked Abby Sciuto (Pauley Perrette), Jimmy Palmer (Brian Dietzen), McGee, Bishop and Dr. Donald "Ducky" Mallard (David McCallum) waiting for any updates on Gibbs' surgery.
Ducky will put the others at ease when he shares what he learned about the doctor conducting the operation. Dr. Taft has quite the impressive background so basically Gibbs is in very good hands.
"So Gibbs has his very own Ducky performing his surgery," Abby states with a smile.
NCIS returns to CBS on Sept. 22 at 8 p.m. ET.
