'Fifty Shades of Grey' Movie Casting: Chris Hemsworth For The Part Of Christian Grey?
Internet chatter over who will ultimately fill the role of Christian Grey in the film adaptation of the E.L. James erotica "Fifty Shades of Grey" continues to create a plethora of buzz. Amid the massive amount of fan rumors, "Thor's" Chris Hemsworth has been a name that's come up regularly for the part of the sex-crazed CEO.
In terms of his attributes, Hemsworth does possess the blue eyes that Grey is described as having, which would serve to seduce the Anastasia Steele character into following him into the "Red Room of Pain," allowing the billionaire to act out his fantasies.
In an interview conducted back in May, Celebuzz had asked the Aussie actor about his thoughts on the possibility of being considered for the highly popular role.
"Ah, no someone mentioned it to me ... I was like, 'What is it? I dunno, maybe I'm interested.' I'm not going to say anything. I haven't read the book," Hemsworth said.
Hemsworth aside, several other notable actors have been consistently brought up for the Grey part, which includes "Man of Steel's" Henry Cavill, "White Collar's" Matt Bomer and "Gossip Girl's" Chace Crawford.
The sexually dominated "Fifty Shades of Grey" premise revolves around Steele, a college graduate student who gets herself involved in a dominant and submissive sexual relationship with the powerful, rich and kinky Grey. Through an "agreement," the two delve into the kinky world of bondage and masochism.
At this point, E.L. James and her producers working on the future movie version of the saucy book have remained tight-lipped on just how the casting process will unfold. Hence, only in time will it be revealed who ends up donning the role of Christian Grey and who ends up working alongside him as Anastasia Steele.
