Cynthia Jorge, Tom Cruise Date, Actor Falls For NYC Restaurant Manager, Report [PHOTOS]
Tom Cruise fell under the spell of a 26-year-old brunnette called Cynthia Jorge from New York City, according to In Touch Magazine.
The actor, 50, who split from his wife Katie Holmes six months ago, met the girl on Dec. 18 at Le Baron along with some friends. According to a witness Cruise was "mesmerized by Cynthia" who "had her hair in a bun, wore tight black pants and looked gorgeous."
"They did the salsa. He took her in his arms and spun her around the dance floor," a witness told the magazine. "Tom looked like a pro,"
"At one point, they began grinding together," the witness said. "It was straight out of Dirty Dancing. Tom seemed to be in his own world, completely smitten."
Jorge is the manager at Beauty & Essex. in New York City. She reportedly met Cruise on Dec. 16 at the restaurant where she works. Jorge reportedly handed the actor her card.
Sources say Jorge always wanted to be famous.
"Cynthia used to work at Benjamin Steakhouse in Midtown before she got her job on the Lower East Side. And before that, she was a party promoter," a friend of her told The Huffington Post. "She has always liked press attention and wanted to be famous."
In an interview at Benjamin's Steakhouse where she used to work, Cynthia said her favorite part of the job was "meeting new people, from CEOs to celebrities to just really interesting people in the industry."
However, a friend of the actor hinted that Cruise may not be happy about all the press attention.
"He hates it when he thinks people leak stories about him to the press," one friend of the actor told The Huffington Post.
