Jill Duggar News 2015: Reality Star Shares Big News 5 Months After Her Son Israel David Was Born [VIDEO]
There is no doubt that 2015 and has been one of the most wonderful and painful years of Jill Duggar's life. While highlights have included giving birth to her first baby, Israel David, and celebrating her one-year anniversary to her husband Derick Dillard, she's also had to deal with the fall out of her brother Josh Duggar's multiple sex scandals. Now, the reality star finally has something to celebrate again, as she recently became certified as a professional midwife.
According to In Touch Weekly on Friday, the former 19 Kids & Counting star made the announcement on her social media accounts. She teased a few days ago that she hinted, "exciting things are happening in our family," with many fans wondering she was pregnant a second time around or not.
Her husband Derick wrote on the family's official website, "After the 7-hour comprehensive exam for certified professional midwives, she is now 'Jill Dillard, CPM.' I am so proud of her for her diligence, perservence, and hard work to see this long road through to its end and reaching her goal of becoming a CPM."
It is unknown of Jill plans on looking for full-time employment, as the family is currently living in El Salvador for their missionary project. The couple has also not made any comments as to how long they plan on living in Central America or if they ever plan on coming back to the United States at all.
Derick quit his job as an accountant only weeks after it was reported that Jill's brother Josh sexually molested her along with three of her other sisters when he was a teenager back in 2002 and 2003.
