He might be one of Hollywood's biggest hunks out there, but it looks like Jamie Dornan doesn't have the A-list status he needs to make it big just yet. There's a new report that says the 50 Shades of Grey star has been edited out of Bradley Cooper's latest big screen offering, Burnt.

According to RTE News on Friday, Dornan's small role in the film, which has Cooper playing a tarnished chef hoping to redeem himself by opening a Michelin star restaurant. However, his scenes ended up on the cutting room floor.

A spokesperson for the film said, "Jamie's role was a small cameo that was part of a back story and following the editing process is no longer part of the film."

Unfortunately, this isn't the first time Dornan has been dropped by a huge Hollywood production. Sources close to the actor say that his role as Christian Grey in the 50 Shades series makes him look like an embarrassment in the industry.

An insider explained, "It's embarrassing. Being in Fifty Shades of Grey seems to be getting Jamie dropped from movies which he had already been cast in rather than landing him big new roles."

The source added, "Some people thought having him pop up on screen would be distracting. They're hoping to generate Oscar buzz with Burnt, and featuring the star of the most widely panned film of 2015 wasn't going to do the project any favors really."

So far, Dornan's camp has not made any comments about the report.
