Word is that Joe isn’t going down without a fight when it come to the possibility of him being deported back to Italy after he and Teresa pleaded guilty to serious fraud charges. He was sentenced to three years and threatened with the risk of being sent away after it came out that he actually isn’t a citizen of the United States.
One insider said Thursday, that Joe, who has been living in the country for more than 20 years, refuses to “go back to Italy without a huge long legal battle. He had already begun the steps to become a citizen as the criminal case against him developed.”
He plans to pull out the card about Syrian refugees getting citizenship as well.
“Joe thinks it’s absolutely ridiculous that Syrian refugees could be given citizenship, and he is going to be deported back to Italy. He thinks there are terrorists among the Syrian refugees that hope to get political asylum, meanwhile he says he has vowed to be a model citizen.”
Apparently Joe doesn’t even speak Italian, so it would be pretty difficult for him to move to Italy; especially with the possibility that his wife and their four daughters could stay right here in the states.
Meanwhile, Bravo is set to release The Real Housewives of New Jersey: Teresa Checks In that will follow Joe and the girls’ lives with Teresa in jail.
