Bonnie Bennett (Kat Graham) and romance have not gone hand-in-hand together on The Vampire Diaries like ever, but this new upcoming season will apparently bring about a change in the witch's love life.

Who Does Beau Have 'Blind Faith' For On 'Vampire Diaries' New Season?

Fans of the supernatural hit series on The CW have speculated that since things with Jeremy Gilbert (Steven R. McQueen) never panned out well she would wind up dating Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder) especially since Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev) is in a deep sleep and basically told Damon not to wait for her.

That will not be the case though as previously revealed by executive producers from The Vampire Diaries.

Why Will Mary Louise & Nora Struggle With Their Relationship During 'Vampire Diaries' Season 7?

TVLine revealed Monday that Bonnie's upcoming romance will actually be with a character viewers are familiar with already despite the new addition of the male heretics and others.

"It really surprised me who they ended up putting Bonnie with, but I was super stoked," Graham told the site, adding, "It's someone that everyone knows and loves, so it's super fun."

The reveal of this romance will come in the fifth episode of the season during a flash-forward.

While the executive producers have shot down the idea of Bamon (Bonnie and Damon's ship name) being a couple, the actress also shared that Matt Donovan (Zach Roerig) is not Bonnie's lover either.

"Matt's a very nice guy, but I don't know if the Bonnie that's finally back - or the Bonnie that's been hanging out with Damon Salvatore - is anything like the sweet Bonnie from Seasons 2 or 3 who would even be good for him," Graham explained.

The series returns to The CW in the fall for Season 7 on Oct. 8 at 8 p.m. ET.
