Tebowie: Jimmy Fallon Parody Tebow + Bowie mashup
Jimmy Fallon, late night host and comedian, joined in the ranks of Tebowers by brilliantly combining Tim Tebow and David Bowie together in a comical parody.
"Common on everyone Tebow," sang Fallon altering the lyrics of David Bowie's famous song "Space Oddity."
Fallon sang "Tim Tebow to Jesus Christ" for "This is ground control to major Tom" in the original and continued:
"This is Jesus Christ to Tim Tebow, please leave me alone. Don't you know my day of rest is Sunday and I'm sick of watching all these Bronco's games."
Tim Tebow has inspired a new term known as "Tebowing" (verb), an act of taking a knee in prayer during an athletic contest or for that matter any event, while everyone else is doing something else. It is derived from NFL quarterback Tim Tebow's tendency to kneel and pray after a game.
