Ouch! A serious mishap happened on set of The Young and the Restless to one of the leading men!

Ian Ward Will Have Genoa City 'In Turmoil' On 'The Young and the Restless' With Gabriel/Adam's Help?

Daniel Goddard is known for his portrayal of Cane Ashby on the CBS soap and as of lately he has been incredibly hot-tempered thanks to his wife Lily (Christel Khalil) cheating on him with Joe Clark (Scott Elrod).

On Sunday, the actor tweeted a picture of himself looking quite miserable while sporting a cast and sling on one of his arms while inside what looks like a room in a hospital's emergency department.

Things In Genoa City Are 'About To Get A Lot Worse' On 'The Young and the Restless,' But Why?

"I broke my elbow on Friday at work while filming a fight scene," he revealed.

Goddard didn't shed light on who the fight scene was with, but we imagine it had to be with Elrod since Goddard's character and Elrod's character aren't exactly on good terms.

"I am just so bummed out..." Goddard added.

In the photo he is sitting in a chair while resting his head on his non-injured hand and arm.

We hope Goddard has a speedy recovery, but we imagine a broken elbow will take lots of time to properly heal.

There is no word how this will affect the storylines Goddard's character is involved in, but it would make sense for the writers to write in the injury since it will take some time to heal.

The Young and the Restless airs on weekdays at 12:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
