‘The Vampire Diaries’ Season 7 Spoilers: Lily Might Need ‘To Train’ Her Heretic Family So She Prevents Future Imprisonment [VIDEO]
Lily Salvatore (Annie Wershing) has her work cut out for her on the upcoming season of The Vampire Diaries.
Will Matt Donovan Be Bonnie's Love Interest During 'Vampire Diaries' Season 7?
She basically told Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) that she was picking her heretic family over them, yet at least Stefan and Damon are able to control their vampire impulses (ya know drinking blood).
On Monday, The CW Television Network's YouTube channel released an interview with Wersching, which can be watched below, in which she discussed Lily's objectives for Season 7.
Who Does Beau Have 'Blind Faith' For On 'Vampire Diaries' New Season?
"Lily's goal right now is just to keep the peace, keep people alive and sort of be able to train her new family how to live in this world in a way that is acceptable so they don't get imprisoned again," Wersching dished.
The actress absolutely loves the new addition of her character's vampire-witch hybrid family.
"My heretic family is this great combination of vampires and witches," Wersching said, adding, "They're super, super deadly!"
As she shared that tidbit of information a scene was briefly teased of the female heretics causing chaos in Mystic Falls, which ultimately won't sit well with Lily since she doesn't want to end up in a prison world again for such horrid behavior.
In another teased scene, Lily even sits her heretic family down for a chat about their past, present and future involving what needs to change so they definitely don't wind up imprisoned once again.
The series returns to The CW in the fall for Season 7 on Oct. 8 at 8 p.m. ET.
