Whitney Houston died at the age of 49 in her Beverly Hills hotel room on February 11, as she prepared to attend the annual pre-Grammy bash of her producer and mentor Clive Davis.

Her family, friends and fellow celebrities gave her an emotional and fond farewell at her childhood church in Newark, New Jersey.

The Los Angeles County Coroner's office said Houston died of an accidental death in her hotel bathtub and a toxicology report added that heart disease and cocaine use contributed to her death.

Houston reportedly used cocaine immediately prior to her collapse in the bathtub. Coroner officer's said she could have passed out first due to the intoxication from the cocaine or she could have had a heart attack and then drowned.
