On Wednesday, Yahoo! News posted a video with Roz Mays, a flexible pole dancer at 228 lbs. She's also an instructor who teaches others about this kind of exotic dancing.

As it turns out, when Mays auditioned for the reality competition, Stern- as one of the judges- told her that her weight took away from her talent and Mays was not happy about this.

"Howard Stern told me that I was too fat to have a career in fitness," she said. "He didn't know why anybody would want to hire me as their trainer [and] didn't think that I was a good role model for other people."

Mays added that Stern and other judges who give out negative comments like that are part of the problem when it comes to shaming others for their appearances.

"I do believe that this was a case of fat shaming," the dancer said. "I believe that America judges people in the fitness industry based on how they look."

The video from Inside Edition below shows Mays showing off her elegance and grace on the pole as she makes her way to the top. She slides up and down where she has flexibility throughout her body.

Even though she didn't get to compete on the series, she did appear in a montage.
