'Real Housewives Of Atlanta' Season 8: Cynthia Bailey Talks NeNe Leakes, Confirms Sheree Whitfield Addition
The upcoming season of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta has yet to premiere but the off camera drama is still at an all-time high; and Cynthia Bailey is the latest to get thrown into the mix.
She has spoken out about the highly anticipated new episodes as well as her broken friendship with NeNe Leakes, who departed from the show after being the only cast member from the original season.
She told Wetpaint recently, “[NeNe] wanted to move on to other things. ‘Fashion Police’ is cool. That’s a great show, a great platform to be a part of. Regardless of what NeNe and I have been through, I will always respect her as a business woman. She worked hard and I respect that. Bloop! A little shoutout to NeNe.”

The show has had many rumors of who’s joining the cast from Sheree Whitfield’s return to actress Kim Fields and Amiyah Scott, who would make history and be the first transgendered model. Bailey said she’s all for more women having a peach.
“I’m always for new blood. I think it just changes the dynamics of the group and makes everything more interesting and more fun.”
As for as Whitfield, Bailey said, “I’m excited to have Sheree back, in particular, because we never really got a chance to get to know each other when we were on the show. It’s going to be interesting to see how it plays out this time around.”
She added that her daughter and Whitfield’s son are actually cool with one another.
