'Gossip Girl' Reunion: Former Cast Members Coming Together Again Less Likely, Manhattan's Elite Moves On [VIDEO]
It's already pretty clear that a Gossip Girl reunion will probably never happen and a couple news reports might be confirming this.
'Gossip Girl' Star Explains How She Snagged Her Role
First of all, it was announced on Thursday from People that Leighton Meester, who played Blair on the former scandalous drama, gave birth to her first child with husband, Adam Brody. In fact, the baby was born in August, but the delivery wasn't announced until this week. The couple named their new daughter Arlo Day.
As Meester focuses on being a mom, another Gossip Girl star gave the impression that he's happy to have moved on to something new with a different TV series. Chace Crawford, who played Nate, spoke to Interview Magazine about his mature new role on the show Blood & Oil and how it compares to his other role.
Are Two 'Gossip Girl' Stars Reuniting On Television?
"With the other one, we started off so young; I was 20-years-old playing 18," Crawford said about Gossip Girl via Belfast Telegraph. "We got to be older, but it never really moved out of that genre. With this [show], having a wife, being married and having that relationship, I always thought it was very important to keep it grounded in some form of reality. I really hope they try and maintain that."
For the most part, the chances of the gang from Manhattan's elite seem to have less of a chance of coming together for one quick group photo since they've moved on. But only time will tell if that possibility ever comes back.
