Both he and fellow Voice coach Gwen Stefani may have made painful decisions to end their marriages to Miranda Lambert and Gavin Rossdale over the summer, but Blake Shelton was all smiles when a blind audition on the show saw a couple get engaged onstage.

Is Miranda Lambert Trying To Win Back Blake Shelton?

The pair, Amanda Preslar and Jubal Lee Young, who go by Amanda and Jubal impressed Stefani and Pharrell with their rendition of Seven Bridges Road by The Eagles and the two coaches turned their chairs around. However, it was after the song ended and Shelton and Adam Levine's chairs were also turned around that things got interesting.

"Hey are you guys a couple?" Shelton asked the pair. "Are you married?"

"Not yet. one day," Preslar answered.

However, Young then surprised everybody by saying, "Alright," and getting down on one knee and pulling a ring out of his pocket.

Both Shelton and Stefani shared looks that were both full of shock and happiness as the couple shared their special moment, and after the cheers began to die down, Shelton made sure to inject more humor into the situation.

"Did you say yes?" Shelton asked.

"She said yes!" Young replied.

"Phew! That would have been embarrassing!" Shelton quipped.

Levine then also got in on the fun, reminding the couple that Shelton could marry them on the spot if they wanted, a joke that still left a smile on Shelton's face.

"Hey, I happen to know that Blake is technically an ordained minister, so if you want to get it done..." Levine said.

"That is true," Shelton added.

Shelton's own marriage to Lambert ended in July after four years. Stefani and Rossdale announced their own split after 13 years just a few weeks later. But it appears the two newly single judges were able to take the moment in stride and with good spirits.
