Jason Lee has a few things he wants to clear up after his debut on VH1’s Love & Hip Hop Hollywood didn’t go so well Monday night; in fact, it ended with him throwing a drink in Hazel E’s face.

Lee, who is a famous blogger and actually recently launched his own site Hollywood Unlocked, opened up about his not so shining moment with the network just hours after the episode aired.

He admitted that when he came on the show, while he didn’t hate Hazel, he didn’t have any respect for her either.

“Hollywood is a small community. I’ve worked with and been friends with a lot of people that she’s been around and she’s burned a lot of my friends. And if I know that you’ve done bad to other people, and you’ve been involved in situations that are fraudulent, I know not to associate with you. I didn’t want to be affiliated with her or be around her, and it ended up that my first scene happened to be with her.”

Lee preferred not to list the names of his famous friends who Hazel E has crossed. Still, despite her history with his close ones, Lee said he regrets getting physical with Hazel.

“I have five sisters that I love dearly and it’s something that I regret, not because of the backlash— the backlash is all people that are peeking into our lives and they’re gonna love me or hate me regardless, that’s not what motivates me.”

He went on to say that he reached his breaking point when going back-and-forth with Hazel. He said that Hazel did something to him first that she needs to “own up to” before he reveals it.

He added that had Hazel been a male, they would’ve been brawling versus just throwing a drink.

He also made a statement via Instagram

From my own desk. Feel free to comment below. I might just respond to a few of you. #LHHH

While he might regret it, it looks like he might be capitalizing off of it. He had an “#EatThatB----” tee on during a premiere party Monday night. he also thanked fans that the hashtag was trending. Interestingly enough, that was the phrase he said to Hazel after he threw the drink on her.

Thanks everyone for coming out last night. I saw #EatThatBitch trending. #WaitForIt : @directedbydelapaz
