Anne Hathaway On Her Sex Appeal: 'I'm Not Rihanna, I'm Not Cool' (PHOTO/VIDEO)
Anne Hathaway appears on the cover of the February 2013 issue of Harper's Bazaar UK.
In the magazine's interview, Hathaway discussed her sex appeal, or rather the lack thereof in her opinion. The 30-year-old said she thinks she is seen as a "bizarre-world good-girl character," and "very vanilla, very sweet, very accessible and not interesting."
Thought the actress, who is considered an Oscar contender for her recent film "Les Miserables," wore a sexy leather cat suit for her role as Catwoman in "Dark Knight Rises," the newly married Brooklyn resident said in real life she has "no grit, no sex appeal."
The actress even referenced multi-platinum singer Rihanna as a contrast.
"I'm not Rihanna," Hathaway told Harper's Bazaar. "I'm not cool. When people come up to me in the street, they often want a hug not a photo, and they want that because they like my work."
In the interview Hathaway also discussed her marriage to Adam Schulman. The "Devil Wears Prada" star said about her husband of three months, "He walks into a room, and I light up."
"I can't help it. A few days into it [filming 'Les Misérables'] I said 'I'm having too much fun. I just want to play with you and I need to be really sad right now,' " she said. "I knew from the second I met him that he was the love of my life."
Hathaway shared her thoughts on getting older in Hollywood with so many younger actresses coming to Tinseltown. She said, "It doesn't help that the new crop of girls is so gorgeous and so 22 years old. But I'm excited about it."
