'Once Upon a Time' Season 5 Spoilers: How Emma's New Darkness Is Like An 'Addiction' To Snow & More
What lengths will Snow (Ginnifer Goodwin) go to in order to bring Emma (Jennifer Morrison) back to the side of good on ABC's Once Upon a Time?
How Will Storybrooke Embrace Regina As Their Hero On 'Once Upon a Time' This Season?
Snow and company are feeling powerless as they watch Emma's darkness grow stronger within her. We know that our heroes' journey to get Emma back to her Savior best will fail, at least for the next six weeks, considering the flash forward scene in the season 5 premiere.
We also know that Snow is capable of some pretty dark stuff, but will she do anything drastic to save Emma? Once Upon a Time co-creator Edward Kitsis spoke with reporters after the premiere to discuss Snow and much more.
Will Emma Meet The Very First Dark One On 'Once Upon a Time' This Season?
"We saw Snow White kill Cora, and we saw her rip a baby from Maleficent, so she's kind of scarred a little bit... When you try to save someone that you love, and you feel helpless in doing it, then that's kind of what we're going to explore," Kitsis teased. "Emma's off on this thing, and it could be a metaphor for addiction, it could be a metaphor for darkness. She's behaving in a way and you're going to see a lot of the people around her who love her feel powerless in how to help her, and so it's that intensity that we really want to dive into."
Kitsis also teased that Snow and Charming (Josh Dallas) will fight at some point this season. This looks to be a very dark season for Snow, unfortunately.
Once Upon a Time airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
