Brandi Maxiell is still dealing with the fallout after coming for Shaunie O’Neal in Sunday night’s episode of Basketball Wives LA.

She took to Twitter to defend her actions after many said that her decision to call O’Neal the B-word was a dumb one, considering O’Neal is the brains and the boss behind the hit VH1 series.

Maxiell began her series of tweets just after the season finale aired.

She retweeted one fan who pointed out that it could be a conflict of interest for O’Neal who is the creator and executive producer of the show, to also be on the cast.

Maxiell went on to defend her actions and said that she should be able to clap back at someone who shares their own opinions about her.

“Don’t talk down on me I won’t do it to you. Fair is fair.”

After viewers pointed out that Maxiell could get fired over the show (O’Neal also implied that after Maxiell’s statement), Maxiell made it clear she was not bothered by the possibility.

“No one is going to insult me. I don’t WORK FOR NO ONE…”

She ended by saying that if O’Neal “had so much power,” many of the women would not have been on the show to begin with.

Tami Roman, who joined the Basketball Wives LA franchise after the Miami installment went off the air, shared a different side than Maxiell and unshockingly teamed up with O’Neal in the matter.

She told The Shade Room that Maxiell went too far. Take a look at what she said here.

Check out the epic scene below and don’t miss the reunion special Sunday at 9/8c on VH1.
